Default An original

I remember the good ole days

I moved from Jax to Japan in 2000 and got rid of my beloved 98 Dakota R/T. I have a little tuner car, a Cobalt SS Supercharged now. I really miss the truck, I love the rides on here.

Anyway, here are a few pics of my car and some of the mods I've done.

The mods include:

ZZP Header
ZZP 3" downpipe with Hi-Flow cat
Corsa Cat-Back
60# injectors
Injen CAI Chrome
Secondary Heat Exchanger (Stock Cobra) with BWoody mounting brackets
ZZP 2.6" Pulley
Show Me Street Customs Billet Fuel Rail Cover, Billet Spark Cover, Fuse Box Cover & Door Sills (Yellow Accents)
Top & Bottom billet grill
Eibach SportLines
20" American Racing Casino's with 225/35-20 Kuhmo Escta SPT
B-Woody Rear Strut Bar
DC Sports Front Strut Bar
LC-1 Wideband
AeroForce SS Edition Interceptor Gauge (Red with Black bezel)
Custom dual-gauge bezel
GMPP cross-drilled & slotted rotors
20% Tint all around and 50% on the windshield
Debadged of all emblems

Tuned with HPTuners

Yea, still in the Navy. In SoCal for school until November then back to Virginia.

The numbers are 279whp/265ft/lbs and it runs the 1/4 in 12.97@109. I plan on building the motor next year. I've been toying with twin charging it also....who knows.

I have seen numbers at 409whp with a turbo swap...it wasn't real reliable though. I have HPTuners and have been tuning cars for over two years with great success but the amount of air that flows past the MAF is higher than anything the computer can scale for. Twin charging got 350 on stock internals without tuning so I am thinking I can get 380 with tuning and forged internals...possibly higher.
All that with a 2.0 motor....and to think I gave up the 5.9 for a damn woman and I've got more hp/tq with a lot less money...and better gas mileage (I get 36+ on the highway).
